SSL Certificate Security

Show visitors you’re trustworthy and authentic.

What is an SSL Certificate?

SSL stands for Secure Sockets Layer and, in short, it’s the standard technology for keeping an internet connection secure and safeguarding any sensitive data. It acts as an third-party verification for a website security.

It verifies when an information is being sent between two systems, preventing criminals from reading and modifying any information transferred, including potential personal details. The two systems can be a server and a client (for example, a shopping website and browser) or server to server (for example, an application with personal identifiable information or with payroll information).

No matter what level of security you choose, your users will recognise that your site is safe, and that leads to greater trust in your brand online.

Got Questions?

Well, We've got answers

SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificates authenticate websites and allow them to switch from HTTP to HTTPS encryption, protecting the exchange of valuable information visitors send to or receive from a website.

Unless you sell things on your personal website, a Standard SSL certificate (DV) is fine. eCommerce websites should use a single-domain Standard SSL certificate (DV) or Premium SSL certificate (EV).

If you website have subdomains needs to be protected, Wildcard SSL certificates cover multiple subdomains. For example, use a Wildcard to protect *.yourbusiness.com, which would cover shop.yourbusiness.com, www.yourbusienss.com and any other subdomains

All SSL-protected sites display the https:// prefix in the URL address bar. Sites protected with a Premium EV SSL certificate display a green browser bar to quickly assure visitors that the website is legal and physical existence was verified according to strict industry standards.
